  4. Das Programm Apollo war eine Art Pionier-Projekt der amerikanischen Raumfahrt.
  5. Die Astronauten wurden in Mercury-Kapseln (s.d.) in den Weltraum befördert.
  6. Im Rahmen des Apollo-Projektes fand auch die erste Mondlandung statt
  7. (Apollo 11).
